A note to our valued vendors about the Coronavirus:
At VeriTES, the health and safety of our vendors is of the utmost importance to us. Like everyone, VeriTES is closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus/COVID‐19 situation. We highly encourage our vendors to follow the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and their home state’s Departments of Public Health.
What does that mean in a practical sense?
First and foremost, if you’re sick, or just not feeling well – stay home. We won’t hold it against you. The same goes if you’re in one of the high‐risk groups, e.g. ‘more wise than spry’ (older), or if you or your agent have respiratory or other chronic medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes or lung disease.
If you are going to be in‐theatres collecting data, please use good hygienic practices.
o Wash your hands frequently
o Avoid touching as many common surfaces as possible o Keep commonsense distance from others

We know that several major theatre circuits are announcing the steps they are taking for the health and comfort of all
visitors to their locations. Some of the type of steps they are reportedly taking include:
Reducing audience capacity for shows to allow for vacant space between seats
Instituting and reinforcing a COVID‐19 prevention staff education program
Increasing all janitorial services, including the frequency and level of deep cleaning
High touch surfaces including: seats, armrests, cup holders, tables, door handles, ticketing kiosks, and touch‐
screens are being disinfected with anti‐viral agents during timed intervals and between show‐times, increasing time between showings to allow for thorough cleaning.
We encourage you to review the policies and procedures published by the circuits you collect from and to comply with any special requests they may have for vendors or contractors such as yourselves.
As always, you are free to accept or decline any data‐gathering opportunities offered to you. We completely respect your decision and there will be no penalty or risk of your vendor status if you decline assignments over concerns related to COVID‐19.
Again, we’d like to emphasize that you protect yourselves and others. We ask that anyone who is feeling unwell refrain from data‐collection so that together, we can ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
We wish for everyone to be safe and healthy in these challenging times!
